A lil back story: I bought this Dropkick Murphys shirt for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loved it; he wore it at least twice a week. Then I found out he had been cheating on me the entire 6 months we were together. Awesome. I went through each room in his apartment and took back everything I had given him. Green is my favorite color and Dropkick is one of my favorite bands so at first I thought I would wear it as a pj shirt, but I was sooooooooo pissed and hurt and I wanted something that would help me feel better. Anger and sadness can be powerful muses. I present to you The Vengeance Purse!

side one

side two

I couldn't get good pics of the inside so I turned it inside out so show it better
pockets and tall narrow pocket for a pen

elastic to hold a water bottle upright and tiny pocket for bus tokens

Magnetic snap, 20" straps with green topstitching, interfacing all over the place...this baby is gonna last a long time! I'm am absolutely ecstatic! And I feel better knowing I've taken a crappy situation and made something positive from it. Thanks for looking  Smiley

Good for you! Love the band, love the bag. Way to make a positive out of a negative...plus if you ever get residual feelings of angsty anger you can throw it across the room and still use it after. Wink

We should all fear evil men, but what we should fear most, is the indifference of good men. On a lighter note..have you smiled today? If you have not, Just DO IT! If you have..do it again!

You go, girl! What a crappy guy, but at least you've got a great purse out of it!

I love this purse, it looks awesome! You did a great job on the lining and the pockets especially.
I'm going to suggest you go one step further in your catharsis though and give it away. If I kept that it would make me think of him every time I saw it and that would tick me off so much.

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

WOW! I love this! the inside is just as beautiful as the outside! The water bottle elastics are a great idea.

Nice bag! The ex however seems a bag of a different sort.

Helen Magnus: No killing!
Nikola Tesla: Said the woman with a gun to a vampire.

The Doctor: Shout if you get into trouble
River Song : Don't worry I'm quite the screamer.. now there's a spoiler for you .

Really cool bag...sorry it's inspiration came from the pain caused by an a-hole. If I were in your shoes i'd have thrown all of his stuff on the ground and peed on it.  Cool
