What a nice package you got, jemimah! It's surprising how many different things everyone came up with...I never would have thought of the Altoids tin sewing kit!

What a great idea with the altoids tin! How did you apply the fabric? I tried once with mod podge, but it didn't turn out well at all.

I received my package from Earthie a few days ago...I had to laugh when I opened it, it's uncanny how much we thought alike when it came to constructing our packages.

She sent me a beautiful fabric covered photo album and fabric tile coasters with a vintage beach/sea themed print. OMGOSH I love them so much Smiley They'll be great in the sun room when we move in a few months.

The FQs she sent are at the top of the photo....and I'm thrilled she sent me a piece of that sea themed fabric, I have some wonderful projects in mind for that Smiley and a cute blue one too !

The altoids sewing kit is really great!  I'd also like to know how the fabric is applied!

I love that lighthouse fabric!  I'd love to know who that is by or where it is from!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

More great hauls!

You all are seriously impressing me with all of the creative ways you've used the fabric. We've proven you can do more than make a buttercup bag with a fat quarter!!

The sewing kit is such a fun idea and I really love the journal cover too. Lovely!

The photo album is another fantastic idea. That fabric is great and I love the buttons and twill tape - is it twill tape??

I know, I'd love to buy yards and yards of it if I knew where to get it Smiley I'll have to PM Earthie and ask !

I believe it is twill tape, I'm terrible with ribbons, tape and trims...so I could be wrong though lol
