OMG, there are so many fantastic packages here!  I am especially in love with the blue kitchen themed fabric used in Deece's package.

My partner Opalgryphon is the bestest! First of all, her choice of FQs to send me are just perfect.
Alexander Henry bird fabric and a green with polka dots. I already know it's going to take a while
before I bear to cut them.

Here they are:

Then the main article: A travel embroidery kit! Love it, love it, love it. It's pretty and I really
needed one. Words can't do justice to this. The fabric combinations, the clever presentation...
Oh my. Whee! And bunch of happy words go in here.

Here's the pics:

I'm very, very pleased with what I received. Opalgryphon deserves AWESOME in her feedback.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Yay!!  So glad you like it!  I wanted so badly to put a full size pocket on the outside for patterns or whatever, but I just couldn't make it work with 2 fat quarters, and making the inside of a whole pocket out of a different fabric would definitely be cheating Sad  I had to diagram out every little scrap to make it work as it is.

I totally bought a half yard of that Alexander Henry bird fabric and kept a FQ for myself, lol Cheesy

Where did you find that birdie fabric? I must have it! Cheesy
And like everyone else I'm loving that embroidery travel kit. Totally wisting!

Oh, I know it's David Textiles but don't remember the name of it... I'll look around for it.
Found it! It's called Kiss the Cook Recipe in Blue (at least that's what I found it under) Tongue
