Notes about Sending, Receiving, and Feedback

SENDING: Take pictures of your items before you send. When sending, you must use a DC# (or for overseas keep that receipt). Keep your receipt until your partner receives. PM organizer and partner when you send.

RECEIVING: PM organizer and partner when you receive. Take pictures of received items. (Please take quality pictures, like ones you would take of your work.) Post pictures in gallery in a timely manner.

FEEDBACK: Given when a package is received (verified through PM or DC#) I will be keeping track of what has been received by gallery pictures (This is why it is important for you to take pictures of your items, just in case your partner does not) *Please PM if there is difficulty with pictures.*

I'm excited to be the first to post to this gallery--look at the CUTE surprises I got from susanab today:



Although she is know for her friendly monsters, Susan made a pair of monkeys for me!! Aren't they wonderful, with their hand-stitched faces and swirly-button eyes!  And from the two fat quarters she also made a pair of mug mats (I missed out on the mug mat swap, so I'm glad to have these!)--they are in the shape of houses, and have chimneys made out of a loop of ribbon!  Very creative!  On the right side of the photo you can see the fat quarters she sent me, in my favorite colors of blue and green.  I love them both, but the green one is my fave because the circles are a little "wonky". 



Here's a close-up of the monkeys.  I believe I have named them "Buz" and "Ned".  I will have to keep them out of reach of our new white kitty--she loves stuffed animals and drags them around the house!

Thank you so much Susan, I love everything you made for me and I know you put a lot of thought and effort into the package to make it something that would please me--and it does!

Thank you all so much for the nice words. Sewing something for leslieshappyheart, for me, was like painting for Picasso, for me. In the note i enclosed i told her that I was starting to think I belonged in the Torture a Fat Quarter Swap; those poor monkeys. Love their names, leslieshappyheart, and so glad that you like everything

wow oh wow. i am speechless (a miracle for those who know me) with the wonderments Leslieshappyheart made for ME!!
First thing is that she ordered the fabric special from The City Quilter after she heard me mention the shop on the boards. And she ordered city-themed fabric (I work in NYC) that is exclusive to The City Quilter. Already I was misting. Here we go:

I know and love these fabrics--she didn't know that. She crafted me: a zippered pouch with my initials--hand OFF! Gorgeous gorgeous. Then a fabric basket that I can only HOPE that these pictures show you how meticulously this basket is made and how the shape of it seems impossible for fabric. (Her first time making one of these). A pincushion that is usually used in Japan for juggling, but for us, it's a pincushion. And two coasters, blending the two fabrics very cleverly--she turned the transit fabric over so it was a softer pattern--clever!
With Bible verses on happiness that will always cheer me. Hey--any FQs for me to work with--you BET.

I get a matching set and leslieshappyheart used her last bit of fabric to tie the quarters together. I had to get some of those intimate LINING shots because it's, like, truly out of this world. You are a DEAR! Thank you so so much!
