I'd been wanting to work with felt for ages, and when I saw this: http://www.purlbee.com/hand-sewn-felt-dolls/ I couldn't resist buying some felt and making one.



 While I was making her we had quite a love/hate relationship, but now that she's finished I'm very pleased with how she turned out.



The face was the hardest part. While it looks simple enough it took me a lot of trying and retrying to get it right.


Skirt detail. The blossom is a paper bead that I made and painted.

I think you've done great job. I prefer your doll to the ones on the blog. The dress is really cute & I love her hairstyle.
