Thanks for the feedback....unfortunately it happened when I was using straight castile shampoo too.....

I'm almost thinking it's cleaning my scalp TOO well despite still having a film on my hair. I did a straight white vinegar pre-treatment and it did nothing to stop it. Sigh.
