I really like that first one! It looks luscious. It will be really fun to work with. I will have to take pics of mine and get them up today. Not too exciting, but I did spin!

Gorgeous yarns, Volomortuus! I really love that second one.

I just have the one yarn this week. It was a bit of mohair that was mixed in with my white mill ends from SSS. It's almost 50/50 wool and mohair, and some sections felt like I was spinning my own hair. Weird. But, I like it. I ended up with about 89 yards, roughly fingering weight.

Inez, that mohair is gorgeous.  Love the color.  Any idea what you'll do with it?

My yarn this week is similar stuff -- the Sheep Shed white mill ends with lots of mohair in it.  It's a 2-ply I call "rose garden."  (I was singing "I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden" in my head the whole time I was spinning it.)  I have pics of the entire process on this one.

Dye applied and ready to go into the oven:

Everyone has done such a great job! Love it!    Cheesy

Here is my energized core-spun yarn out of recycled sari silk.  It's very pretty, but OMG it was such a PITA to make.

Oooh! Everyone's yarns are gorgeous!

volomortuus- I especially love your first yarn! Reminds me of ice and snow.

Inez- the color is gorgeous!

nikschaf- I think "Rose Garden" is a perfect name for the yarn. Thanks for sharing the whole process, too Smiley

fancyarbor- Wow!! I've spun sari silk before and I loved the outcome. The colors are so vivid. Corespinning it must have been a total b*tch, though. lol It came out great, though Smiley

I only have one yarn to share this week. I haven't been spinning as much lately Sad School and kids demand much too much of my time! lol I also haven't made a whole lot of progress on carding the alpaca I had washed.

I love how uniform the yarn is.  I still have a hard time keeping my gauge consistent throughout the yarn.  Need more practice! Smiley
