Hi everyone! I usually lurk in the jewelry/resin/clay forums, so this is my first post in the sewing boards. I started out with a Janome sew mini machine and it's great - sewed through 4 layers of fleece, somewhat managed to sew through fuzzy fabric - and now I want to be able to play with more stitches and embroidery.  Grin I have zero experience with embroidery, so this machine will probably be with me for a good couple of years.

I tried looking through the description of the product and was wondering what supplies I'll be needing before embroidering with this machine. I've heard the name Embirid for making your own designs dropped around, so I'll be investigating that. I've also heard stabilizers(??) and different kinds of thread and now I'm just way too confused.  Huh

I have about less than 6 hours to decide before purchasing the machine and any input would be greatly appreciated.
