I understand the difficulties that some of you may have in sneaking into the US with ridiculous amounts of craft supplies hidden on your person, so I would suggest that you first ship ALL your crafting supplies to me.  I will, of course, bring them to Craftsterland after you get settled in . . . Grin

Boycott haters.

I love the spirit of Craftsterland!  So many willing members ready to store supplies, provide loans, send along duct tape...such a great bunch of people will be be there singing kumbaya around the many firepits used as kilns!

We can all take weekend trips to places in the midwest. Like Whatcheer, IA and such.

We will have to split up into houses. but I'm not thinking just the harry potter houses. How about different genre houses. Steampunk, Retro, 80's sparkle, etc.

Don't forget we need tornado shelters!

Can I lead the class on wind chime and windmill making?

If no one else has offered, I can run the daycare. You'll have to provide diapers (for all ages), food, toilet paper, crafts, and a babysitter.

Of course, I charge. You can either pay me $500 per child per hour or we can trade for shiny marbles and plastic cat statues with tie dye fur.

All of the classes sound so wonderful!

Uh, I WAS thrilled, even though I'll never in a million years end up in Nebraska (unless of course, there's some sort of monetary miracle in my future), that is, until I read "May not use techniques taught in classes when off commune property." That's in the teeny tiny fine print. Seriously? I can understand the possibility of goats in the dorm, but SERIOUSLY?

I was buzzing with happy feelings right up until I read that. I'm sure it was meant to be funny and/or ironic, but it just smacks of corporate cow poo and legalistic malarkey. I'm just really disappointed right now, and not sure I want to read Craftster today...

God, I'm so gullible!  I just kept thinking "I really want to go, but airfare is going to be crazy to Nebraska"....   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Maremare, I think I got sucked in by the thought of having a soap class with you Wink
