From what type of areas are you guys moving from? Have you ever lived on a farm type setting? I grew up on a farm and it is the best living environment for families. Miss living with horses, cows, ducks, goats and lots of land.

Right now I'm in the 3rd largest city in the US! I may need to stay in the dorms for a while just to ease myself into so much quiet!

Seeing as the housing market is total crap in FL where I live, it may be a while before I can put down roots at the compound Sad  This makes me sad!  I'll be working on packing and selling as much as I can so I can bring ONLY my craft supplies and a few changes of clothing, afterall, I'll be making my own once I get there!  I better sign up for the skirt making class ASAP, else I'll have no bottoms to wear after a couple days Shocked

OMGOSH! I'm so thrilled!! Do you think my family would miss me if I came to stay for the whole year?  But my question is, WHY NO FIBER CLASS?!?!!!  Think about it, we could set it up sweatshop style, to provide yarn for the fair isle knit class!!!

It's in the north, practically in Canada so I'm sure you'll be fine!

I'm moving from the suburbs of good old Ohio.  I lived in the country as a child, but have never lived outside of Ohio.  We're nervous, but excited all at once!

I had been thinking about organizing a fiber dyeing class, if there's interest?  I was thinking about designing a snow dyeing class, based on ptarmic wumpus' tutorial.

I can't wait to move! I've never lived on a farm but I am pretty sure I'll love it.

Important question: What kind of craft stores are nearby?
