Hi everyone!  Within the past year or so, I have gotten addicted to earrings.  Don't know why, but now I have a lot of them.  Anyway, I hate putting them in a jewelry box because they get jumbled around with everything else and stuff gets lost and so on and so forth.  So, I had the idea to create this to display my ear jewels:

I took a small canvas for painting, put 2 layers of craft batting on top, and then stapled black fabric over it.  I nailed a sawtooth hanger on the back for easy hanging.  I love it!  It serves its purpose well.  The only problem is that the earring hooks are a little too blunt to pierce the fabric, so before I put a new set in, I punch a hole with a thumbtack and then they slide right in!

=)  Yay for solutions to life's little irritations.

I haven't seen you for awhile. Glad to see you, and I like your holder. Love earrings, and seems one always disappears.
