The wedding invites look great!  How/where are they going to be sewn?  (My sister wanted to do something like that for her invitations, but she had too many people to invite so she couldn't get them done in a short enough time.)

Who/what is totoro?  Is my ignorance an indication that I haven't spent enough time on Craftster? Wink

Cute cute cute stuff!!

I can't wait to see your bunting(s) lxm!  I hope the flags I sent you are usable with your color scheme!

I am determined to crank out some projects out of knits (especially now that I got my serger working properly with 4 threads/2 needles), I came across a tutorial for a gathered skirt with a knit waistband (which yes, will only use a small amount of knit), there is also a full knit version of the same skirt and I found a mom/daughter yoga skirt tutorial as well.  I may also try out a pair of yoga pants... and I have a pattern for a shrug that I am hoping I have enough of a drapey knit to make with... maybe I can do something today while Q is off with his Grandpa.  I think they finally dropped our tornado watch (though the high wind warning is still up)... I hope everyone else in the paths of these storms is safe!

It's kind of hard to explain, but I will be printing on velum and then sewing it to cardstock (in theory) and then folding and taping one edge. Then part of the folded bit will be ripped off for RSVPing!

I am so confused right now, lol!

In exciting news, I was actually able to get stuff done today... I made a skirt using this pattern http://www.alteredcloth.com/blog/2007/06/how-to-make-a-gathered-skirt-with-knit-waistband.php and an oversized shrug (that was based off a crochet pattern, lol) that might be a tad too oversized for me.
Here is an awful cellphone picture!

I still need to hem the bottom of the skirt and the sleeve openings on the shrug, but Q came home and Z woke up so I had to stop.

I love the skirt though, it turned out great and fits perfectly!  The gathering was a little annoying but I did it while watching TV so it wasn't too bad.  Gonna have to make about a gazillion of them now.  And figure out how to baby-size it (I probably already have a tutorial for one in a baby size saved somewhere)!

I must be weird, because I love gathering!  Awesome goods, ZS, atsuko and LXM!

Fun day today -- I subbed in a pre-K/K split classroom for the morning!  Boy did those children keep me hopping!  I took Hailey along for the ride (my doggie) and she went for the morning walk with us.  The kids loved it!  This small rural school has a fitness program - a 1 mile walk for children in grades 4-8 and 1/2 mile for K-3.  It's fun!  Then I had lunch with my BFF!

Working on a few new things for my shop for next round!

She was!  I had to repeatedly caution the kids to stay out of her face, but she was really great with them!

I'm looking forward to seeing what skirts you can offer in your shop Wink

What a wonderful program! Cheesy It's not far to walk, but a really good start to getting them walking a little more^^
