I have a TON of 12x12 card stock that I keep around just for making books. All one sided on fortunately I can cut them down to 12x6" and mail them to you or whip up a book. A japanese stab stitch style book is really easy to rebind and add more pages. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdwDYVlZK2A

A lot of my paper is girly (it's hard to find card stock that it not) but they come in more manlier colors like earth tones.

I didn't think of 12x12 being difficult to send! I was gonna say that I could cut them out myself to take that off the hands of that someone - but you have a really good point there!

As for picture size she has a digital camera and a printer, so there is no problem in the size of the book.

If more than one is going to help that's fine by me Haha...I know about hoarding peerrdy thing for crafting! Well as I think I might have said: Boyish - but not all lubbydobby babyblue things more into general boyishness and neutrals. Can you help out? It sounds like it^^


I can bind as a real book several places but thanks I love knowing how to do the japanese one!

I dont have time right this second, but later today I'll post my shop.   Is there anything in particular you guys are looking for?    I have a ton of baby/kids stuff in-stock right now, and a whole bunch of baby/kid hats/sunhats.  Does anyone need baby/kid stuff?   
Or hats (baby through adult size)

Or any other particular sewn items?

I have been participating in the De-Stashalong, and have some things I need/would like to make to de-stash that I don't actually need.  So I've been thinking about making a few of these items and then joining in on STS.  But it's confusing, and I'm afraid I'll mess something up.  Can anyone allay my fears?

Also, where should I go to find out more about this STS cookbook (as in what it's for, who can participate, etc.)?

I'm a relative newbie to STS.  I started last Fall then took a break over the holidays.  It was a little confusing me, too, but I decided to take the plunge and am very happy I did!  Take a look through everyone's shops to get a feel for pricing.  You'll start with 3 points of STS currency to spend in everyone's shops, and you'll earn points when folks purchase stuff from your shop. If/when you decide to leave this swap, you'll just need to make sure you have the 3 points of STS currency you started with to pay back.  Feel free to PM me or any of the swap organizers or STS members if you have any specific questions.  The organizers are super helpful and nice.  There are some really talented gals in this swap and lots of them take custom orders.  I hope you give it a try!  (and I'm clueless on the cookbook).

Browsed through and spent a few points   I noticed there's a lot of closed shops and a few 'placeholders' where shops should be...please come back and open up and join us!!

I'm thinking I may run a spring cleaning BOGO sale in my shop thru the end of the round, buy 1 pt get 1 free.  I also have a pre-packed 'mystery' flat rate box to list....the only hint I have to give about it is that it's sewing-oriented, but the exact details of what all you get remains a mystery until you open it!  Hopefully I'll get all that put together in a day or 2.
