Hello Crafsters! I am fairly new to crafster and have been diggin' everyone's work, talent and enthusiasm here!  I would like to begin sharing some of the items I have now gotten my crafty little hands into.  I have just recently taken up the art/craft/hobby/love/addiction of hand embroidery.  There have been items in my crafty past where I've done hand stitching to create, such things as little felt thingies, but this is my first venture into actually hand embroidery for a whole project. I am now just in my 3rd week of creating nonstop little bitty pieces.  Please take a look at my pics and let me know what you think. I found a picture of Frida that I thought I could start out with (want to do more) and used transfer paper to get the design on my fabric.  The cutie pie retro gal is a Sailor Jerry design I'm sure you are familiar with if you are into tatts like me.  I used backstitch and some french knots on these.  I used 2 and 1 string for the faces because I thought they needed to be a little delicate being that they are about 2 1/2 inches in height. The Frida is on re-purposed fabric.  Hope you dig 'em!! Grin
