I'm all for that! Meet for brunch before, or lunch before or after? Does anyone have a favorite place near campus? I like Chompies for breakfast or lunch, and Plaid cafe for lunch. I don't know stuff on campus very well.

I can make it too! Plaid or Chompies both sound great. There's also a coffee shop right across the street from the Art Museum called 3 Roots, which would be a really nice place to meet up. As far as food goes, though, they only have 1 type of sandwich and 1 type of soup- not a huge selection!

See you on the 30th!

what, nobody wants to meet at hooters?

okay then, here's what i propose:

     - we meet up at plaid eatery around 10:30-11:00 am for coffee / brunch / lunch / crafting / etc
     - once we're done, we can head over to the museum (i'm guessing this will be around 12:30?)
     - for those of us who'd like to grab a coffee afterwards or get a little more crafting in, we can hit up 3 roots

what say thee?  if this sounds agreeable to you guys, i will start a new thread and alert the media.  Wink

Unfortunately, I now have a family obligation in the afternoon on Saturday. :-(

I could still go if everyone was willing to meet earlier (i know, gasp! get up earlier on Saturday!), like at 10am at the museum when opens, and you all could get lunch and hang out together afterwards. Or if there are any early risers in the crew, I'd be up for meeting people for breakfast at say, 8:30-9am. I really need to get to my dad's at lunchtime.

Let me know what you think.

no problem for me.  how about this:

     - 3 roots opens at 9:00 am, so any early risers can meet over there between 9:00 - 10:00.
     - everyone meet up in front of the museum at 10:00 am.
     - anyone who's up for eating / hanging / crafting can head over to plaid eatery afterwards.

boo, illanna- is that good for you two?  also, what time do you guys think you'll show?  i'm not sure if i can make it before 10, but i will try.

That's so great, guys! Thanks for accommodating me! Who all is meeting for breakfast? I don't know anything about this 3 Roots place, do they have actual breakfast food, or just pastry?
