Swap name: One Tiny Doctor Who Thing Swap
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: jennieingram
Sign-up date range: 3/29/11 - 4/9/11
Date to send item by: 5/7/11
Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): No
Restricted to people who all live in the same country? NO

Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES
- Is at least 18 years old: YES

Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES
- Participant has agreed that he/she is at least 16 years old: YES
- If within the US, understands that Delivery Confirmation number is required for this swap: YES
- If outside the US, understands that a mailing receipt copy is required for this swap: YES

I reserve the right to refuse anyone. If you have feedback that shows a history of incomplete packages, very late sending, ill-communication, lack of DC #'s, etc. I may refuse you. I want this to be a flake-free swap!

Details of swap:
Each participant will be required to send out 1 TINY Doctor Who themed item, measuring no more than 4x4.  Your item should be physically small BUT, it should also be something that you can craft with a high level of skill.  Even if it is a fairly simple/easy item for you to make, please embellish so as to represent the best of what you can craft.  (For example, if you wish to make a coin purse, you could embroider, add beading, stencil, or take any other steps to make it a really special piece.)

* You will receive only one partner.
* You may only send that partner ONE Tiny Doctor Who craft
* All items must be 4"x4" or smaller in their natural state.

How do you know if your idea is "tiny?"  Examples:  A coin purse is tiny; a clutch purse is not.  A pair of earrings/pendant is tiny.  A trinket box is tiny; a pencil box is not.  If you're not sure if your idea qualifies as "tiny," ask your organizer!

What does in their natural state mean?  That means that if the object was resting on a table, it would be 4x4.  A book for example that had a cover 4 square, would count as a OTT, even though when you open the book it could be 4x8, because in its natural state, a book lays closed.

For a wonderful swap experience, communication is the key.  Please keep in touch with your partner.  Further, it would be nice if you would post in this thread at least once a week (you could just stop in for a quick hello.....or if on holiday or will be without internet access or anything of the such, just post a message....it gives your partner and organizer warm fuzzy feelings to know you are still around).

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address including the country
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?
Confirm that are at least 16 years old or, if not, that you have moderator approval(YES/NO)

Do you have access to a camera and agree to post pictures of what you receive in the gallery and take pictures of what you send (just in case)?
Do you agree to post regularly (once a week minimum) in the thread and and keep in good contact with your partner and organizer?

Do you prefer the classic or the current Doctor Who series?
Favorite Doctor(s):
Favorite Companion(s):
Favorite Villain(s)/Monster(s):
Favorite Episode(s):
Any Favorite Quote(s):
Do you have any least favorites (Doctor/Companion/Character/Episode etc)?
For New Who fans, are you up to date on the current series?
Are you open to/want to include the spinoffs?
If so, which ones:

What crafts are you best at?
What crafts do you admire?
Is there anything you would especially like to receive?
Is there anything you would NOT like to receive?
What is your preferred bracelet length?
preferred necklace length?
What are your favorite colors:
Least favorite colors:
Do you have a wist?

Do you have any allergies (smoke, pets, etc)?
Do you have any pets or allergens in your home?
Do you, or anyone else in your home smoke?
Is there anything else you would like your partner or the organizer to know?

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO jennieingram VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also, remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find other rules about participating in a swap.

Soooo tempting!  I wonder if I can handle 4 swaps at once... My inlaws are coming for almost a month so I would have live-in babysitters.....hmmmm

I don't normally join the tiny swaps but may have to consider this one if I have time and an extra slot free.  Grin

Ooh this would be tempting... I've just sent on my first ever swap so I'd have to wait for my partner to receive and to get feedback but I could be tempted by this. And if it's only one tiny thing it wouldn't be too time consuming. I do love Dr Who!  Smiley
