Hello! I've never posted on the knitting board before, this is the first thing I've ever knitted!  It took me 4 years!

It's about 7 foot long!  It's also full of holes, but I don't mind.

I love it! It looks way better than my $20 store-bought version. You should do the other houses too.

Holes, you say? I can't see them. Way to tackle multiple colors on your first knitting project! This is very nice, and the colors sure do pop! Well done.

Oh, and on a side note, since you're entering into the world of knitting, I wanted to ask, have you seen this book? http://www.amazon.com/Charmed-Knits-Projects-Harry-Potter/dp/0470067314/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1302548720&sr=8-1

It has how to make Dobby socks and Weasly sweaters and the like, beginner to advanced patterns. You may just like it!

In summary, WOW! Nice job!

Thanks so much for your kind words!  I assure you, there are many holes, if i ever decide to add buttons to this scarf I won't need to make button holes!  I have heard of the wizard knitting book, I keep meaning to see if the library has it, thanks for reminding me of it! Smiley
