super cute.  And it looks easy enough to get past the fear I have of my sewing machine!

Its gorgeous!! Well done, and it is so simple. I LOVE the fabric print, it is divine!

I wonder though, how you would adjust the front to accomodate a bigger bust? I suppose just widen the top half and insert darts to create shape?

Hi!
Newbie sewing person here, LOVE the dress, it looks great!

I had a question, and I hope it's not dumb, but did you actually cut the shirt to get the pattern right, or did you just trace around it and sort of extend the bottom to create the skirt portion?

I was considering trying to do this using a tee shirt that fits, but that I don't wear, cut it up the sides and trace it that way. Is that how you did it?

That way I wouldn't mess the neck up, and would get the underarm length right, because I'm wider through the bustline, and everywhere else, too. But this dress looks like it would be great in a Plus size, as long as I get the proportions right.

Thanks so much for posting it!

I love the simplicity of it.  I'm wondering, though, did you design the decorative details on it, too, or did that come on the fabric already?  They're so cute, I think they really add to the fabulous-factor this dress has
