Anyone else new to spinning/dyeing who might want to swap beginner yarn?

Something small... a hundred yards or so of handspun and/or a couple ounces of dyed roving.

I'd be up for organizing if there was some interest.

I'd be sort of embarrassed to send my lame excuse for yarn to someone...

I would love your "lame excuse of a yarn!" I was thinking though, whatever happened to the MYB (Magic Yarn Ball) swaps? Why don't we start up a spinners edition? Experienced or new, all welcome?

Heck yeah, I take the blame for that. You rock! Your spinning kicks ass.

I've always wanted to do a hand spun MYB. Whatever happened to those swaps, though? They were going so strong!

I haven't seen a MYB in a little while but I think between that idea and Oyhana's beginner spinner swap I'm sure we could drum up some interest! I love getting handspun yarn! You could even have the theme of the MYB be that it all has to be handspun related.... spindles, fibres, dyes, even bags/boxes to store things.... I think it would be a blast for a swap!

OOH I'M IN!  I started spinning, but put it away because it's still so new to me.  This will  be a good excuse to get it back out!

ETA: I was just in a MYB sort of swap a couple months ago...they are still around, just not as strong a showing as they used to be I guess.
