This is my first sewing project for a horse.  It's actually a cooling sheet, but it serves the same purpose as a bathrobe, lets them cool off slowly after exersize during cool weather.  The pattern is Suitability 7900.  I used red anti-pill fleece, wide velcro and webbing for the straps and head band, and trimmed it with black braid I picked up for $1 at a yard sale.  (In the pic, he isn't sporting the headband/hoodie part.)

It wasn't complicated, but it was a LOT of fabric.  This is sort of a practice run for another sheet I'm planning that will be a little more decorated and detailed.

Thanks for looking.

Looks nice on him!  I don't know too much about horse fashion, but this is much nicer than the ones the horses across the road from me have on in cold weather.

Oh!!! I need a cooler, and I am too cheap to buy one.
Have any hints of a tutorial? I am sure I can wing (being its just a rectangle)  it but how many yards did you need.
