Rebecca Black "Friday"

This is by far the most terrifying thing I've ever created:



I spent the better part of the work day yesterday doing this, inspired by Rebecca Black's song "Friday" and the terrible black and white pencil drawing in the music video.

This is actually my first real attempt at embroidery instead of just cross stitch, so its done mostly in a combination of split stitch and back stitch, and I'm not sure what the stitch on the letters is called. I picked the drawing as inspiration because I was worried it would turn out horribly, and I figured if the design was ugly already it could only be partially my fault

My bf and my friend sang it all night last Monday thinking they were just hilarious! I was ready to kick them out of the house, I fully agree with the brain melting

Lol she does kinda look like the goonies guy. I think the song is just like those others you sing as a child that runs through your head. Like John Jacob Jinglehimer , Barney's I love you" or The song that never ends. You know the one's. Anyway thats a great job you did at embroidery.
