I have always loved the simplicity and imagination of Harold and the Purple Crayon and I've been wanting to make a tribute purse for a while. I finally chained myself to my sewing machine and finished it and here is the finished product!

The front of it features his classic pose and the back features a little creature he might have drawn.

(Ignore the fluffies that attached themselves to the purse from my carpet.)

Enjoy!

Hitting this rocks, because it does! I loved that book as a child.

Great work! I also enjoyed this book as a child. I'll have to see if I can find it in our library so I can share it with my kids.  Wink

I love it!  Harold and the Purple Crayon was the first book I learned to read, so it's always had a special place in my heart.  =l= And last Christmas, my mother found a new copy to give to me.
