My machines are constantly causing me injury! (or I suppose it's really my klutziness to blame...) I sewed twice all the way through one of my fingers a couple days ago. Which just amazes me really, when my machine likes to have fits over too many layers of fabric and spit off broken needles and yet it had not problem doing that. Roll Eyes

On a crafty note, I haven't actually started anything yet, but I do think I've gotten everything I need for my projects. Smiley

The crafting is going slowly right now with lots of other activities going on, but I should be able to get everything wrapped up next week!  Smiley

I hope everything is ok with him! At least the craft planning can help you take a mental break every now and then Smiley

Meanwhile, and speaking of rebelious machines, I have broken six needles today. I think the universe is trying to tell me to leave it for tomorrow...

everything will be fine with him. he has cancer so everytime he gets a fever we land in here for at least 2 days while they test his blood to see if anything is growing in it. sucks but could be worse. we are on admit number 7  since jan.

I've missed so much in the swap thread!

That said, I'm busy catching up, stalking and beginning crafting. I'm actually super glad to have noticed that there are a few other "laid-back" crafters in this swap, so i don't feel all lonely in drawn-out craft planning!

The universe is a crazy thing, I was ready to beat my head aghast a wall with what I'm trying to do and failing, and then i find just what I want on the internet...   Grin the craft gods are smiling on me today.

Supplies ordered. The waiting is the hardest part so says Tom Petty, but I think the hardest part is going to be actually bringing what I have in mind to life. Let's hope it all goes as planned =0)

DH did make me what I needed, so I should be able to do the bulk of what I need this weekend, add some finishing touches, and hopefully be able to mail after I go donate blood Wednesday morning.  It all depends on how quickly the finishes and glues dry.
