I haven't figured out how to use regular patterns, so I tend to download patterns that come with step-by-step photo tutorials.  I ordered this "Round Neck Top/Dress" pattern from that*darn*kat on YouCanMakeThis.com  It was very easy to follow and I was able to make it using fabric I had on hand.  The floral print is from a thrifted pillowcase and the contrast trim was a sheet.  The rounded neckline has cute button closures on both sides that don't show well in the photo, but add some pizazz to it.  Looking forward to making more as both tops and dresses.
