I wasn't quite sure where to put these.... they're on canvasses, but I didn't do any painting, so I didn't think they quite fit the "art" category.

The buttons on the jellyfish's "body" are all sewn onto both the felt and canvas, but the blue buttons are just attached with super glue. I started to sew them on also, but it just didn't suit them.


The weather's been a bit gloomy lately, so the photos make this look a little duller than it really is. The colors are the same, but it pops more in person.




And this is my rainbow canvas. I love the colors.  Smiley I glued down several magazine pages first, which made it much more difficult to sew through. I don't know if I would do something like that again, knowing what my fingers would have to go through!

Oh buttons, buttons! That is great =)   I really like it...
and I feel for your fingers. It must have been as excruciating as making shoes. Maybe next time you can try poking the holes you need with one of these poky leather tools, before sewing the bottons on the canvas. That makes the experience a little less painful Cheesy

Haha  Cheesy yeah, I just feel like it looks a little duller than in person... and Birdbones... thanks for the suggestion. Is that an awl? I really should get something like that before I poke my fingers right off!!
