Whatever! (Philippians 4:8)

I've been wanting to try out an idea using the measuring-tape closure technique, and I whipped up this little set about 30 minutes using scraps from my stash.

I originally thought to put it in one of the 17 teacher appreciation gift bags I'm making (2 kids!), but on a whim about 10 minutes before I left for a field trip to the local university--and inspired by the hat giveaways here on craftster--I grabbed a scrap of card stock and scribbled a note (which was cut out with a REALLY bad set of old kitchen shears, sorry), snapped photos, and decided to leave it somewhere on the campus as a "random act of crafting."

For those not attuned to the vagaries of the deep south's weather, it's allergy season here--the cars are positively green with pollen--and a nasty late sweep of the flu is putting people down, too. Everywhere I go, people are sneezing and honking and wiping watery eyes. Thought this might be a nice surprise for someone. Wink

I hope whoever found it was at least mildly pleased, but I've sure had fun thinking about it!

I love this!

And I just want to let you know that pine pollen sells as a very fancy supplement, $20 for 2 oz! While people are sneezing their heads off they should be bottling that stuff up to sell!

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

It makes me happy that you guys think it would be fun to find something! I hope whoever found it thought so, too!

craftylittlemonkey, the next RAK I do might be to dust my car (must be 2 pounds of pollen on it though I washed it last weekend) and GIVE it to somebody! What on earth is that stuff good for?!

Just FYI, the little bag has a tape-measure snap opening. I'm hooked!
