I bought a pattern from Sidquilts on etsy because I have a fear of zipper top purse patterns but I so wanted to make one! Hers looked intriguing so I pulled out some of my batik and went to town! Only thing I did differently was use fusible fleece for the outside pieces to make the bag even sturdier! I LOVE IT!

Thanks for looking!

I like that bag, very pretty Smiley  I, too, have wanted a zip top bag but have dreaded making one.  Was it fairly simple, once you had the directions, or was it at all confusing?  I'm easily sometimes confused by patterns, but if this one was easy to understand, maybe I'll try it as well.

Thanks!

I have made quite a few purses but not like this one. She has lots of pictures and I felt it was easy to understand! You never know till you try! And she is super nice, so you can ask questions.
