I got a copy of Knitting Mochimochi this Christmas and I finally got around to making one of toys inside! I present Squirrely, the squirrel on wheels. ^__^

I used some yarn I unraveled from an old scarf I never, ever wore. Good makeover from a scarf, in my opinion. :p
This took me around 2-3 days to complete... I'm a slow knitter, haha! And good thing I finished within a few days, and not weeks! I was knitting this for a friend's birthday gift. (:

Here she is with her new squirrel on wheels!

I love that book. You did a great job with your squirrel. I've made the moose which was awesome but my pig with wigs didn't turn out Sad. I may have to try the squirrel next!

Yep, you've made one utterly cute piece of knitting!

(Does Ilianora really mean that she tried to make a pig with wigs, or was that meant to read "wings"?  Tongue)

I love that book!  I've made quite a few of the projects (including two pigs with wigs), but haven't done the squirrel.
