Here are the mittens.  It's from www.redheart.com pattern #WR2166 "Crochet Mittens for All", a super easy single crochet in-the-round pattern:

My son and I dyed the wool with Kool-Aid before I spun it.  I called the yarn "Tequila Sunrise."  I made the mittens from the 2-ply yarn on the right.  The yarn on the left is a single-ply which I haven't used yet.

The colors are fantastic!  I love your mittens - aside from the to-die-for colors, the longer cuffs will be really warm.

Thank you!

I'm loving the long cuffs.  We've had a cold snap here in Minneapolis, so I've actually worn these the past couple of days.

The colors are wonderful. I hope the yarn doesn't smell like kool-aid though! Smiley

I love the color... and the mittens too.  Good job!
