Spider & Web Messenger Bag and Goodies

 My sisters birthday is in April (& so is her name) and I wanted to make her presents this year. I did my first swap about a month and a half ago and it was the make a purse and fill it swap. I had a lot of fun doing it so I decided to keep to the same requirements and make one for her. She recently changed her style and asked for something in purple or orange and with bats or spiders. This is what I chose to do...
 She likes messenger bags... I used napkitten pattern Swift Summer.

 Now that I am finished I can start working on my next swap. Swapping is addictive!

Love it! The best bags are the ones sturdy enough to stand on their own and it is easy to see you did a great job on this one. The adjustable strap is a nice touch. Also the little bat is so cute with his hidden fangs

That is fantastic!   The messenger bag looks beautifully made, and that is great fabric!  The spiderweb zipper pull is a really nice touch, too. ^_^  And all the adorable extras you made!  I am so jealous of your sister!
