What an AWESOME group of swappers we have! Within 45 minutes of posting for an Angel I had 4 responses! I feel so blessed to be in such an amazing group!
WOW! Shocked  Y'all are too sweet and truly the best! Kiss

Here is the MAQ I created in case y'all wanted a peek...

I named it Peaceful Ripples, and it was to go with the my partner's theme of "water the calm peacefulness."

I handpainted the fabric for depth and and hand quilted the piece with variegated thread.  I used handspun & dyed yarn for the crocheted lilypads.  I wanted to captured an organic feel.  I was rather giddy with the results and hopefully it brings smiles.  So without further delay, the MAQ Grin...

The sewing theme quilt and the water quilt are both beautiful! It's great fun to see all the different approaches used by our group. Great swap! Thanks, everyone.

pinkleo, that's beautiful!  I love the contrast between the "smooth" water and the rough lily pads.  Well done!

awwww...thanks everyone! Kiss

Y'all are making me so happy; I fretted terribly over this MAQ, worrying it was too plain since not pieced.  I absolutely adore all the MAQs; every piece is inspirational!

I really like the mixed media effect of the lily pad quilt.  It's nice to know that it doesn't always have to be yarnie vs. sewist but sometimes can be yarn + sewist.  Very Nice.
