Now is the time to start thinking of projects to finish up for the county fair. It is a BLAST exhibiting, I love seeing what every one else brings and what the judges deem ribbon-worthy every year!

You can view last year’s fair book (with class listings and rules, which stay about the same every year) at the fair’s website:
http://www.champaigncountyfair.cc/jos/

Entry is CHEAP and there are (small) cash prizes for ribbon winners. In all my years, I have never had any items stolen or lost but I know of at least one person who has so it is always a risk you take when you leave your crafts for the public to see for a week.

If you don’t get any knitting and crochet finished, consider bringing something else like baked goods, canned items, vegetables/fruits from your garden, flowers (both specimen and arrangements) or TONS of other crafts like sewing, jewelery, woodworking, photography or painting!

I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.  I'm not affiliated with the fair, I just love it and want to the flourish and thrive!
