Hi guys!
I want to open a fabric online  store in Germany. I want to sell fabric with freaky/fancy motives like skulls, colourfull animal prints (e.g. green leopard skin print), cats ,anchors whatever is unusual and hip (border prints that are a bit Gothic lolita would be awesome too). Since the German distributors all sell stuff that is very much alike I thought about to import fabric from Asia because I always see so much pretty fabric here in craftster that is not available in Germany. Now I am wondering if somebody can help me find distributors that have fancy fabrics and that sell smaller amounts (like 100 yards) to overseas. Any help is highly appreciated!!
Thanks
glamis

There is a whole sale of fabrics on our town. their data are
Stoffengroothandel A.A. van der Lee B.V.
Eikbosserweg 117 1213 RV Hilversum - 035 6219579
Calling from Germany would be 0031356219579
If you want, I can call them for you.

Other option is the fabric market in Utrecht on saturday morning. I wont have the chance to go there for 3 weeks at least but could ask around.

Thanks a lot. Since I have no car I would have to force somebody to drive me there (and eat lots of Vla and Frikandel). Is the Utrecht fabric market also for distributors (groothandelaar ?)?
Does the Stoffengroothandel have a website?
At the moment I am desperately looking for bright coloured animal prints like this: http://image.shutterstock.com/display_pic_with_logo/366001/366001,1242340670,22/stock-vector-leopard-seamless-30255973.jpg
on cotton or spandex...

Nah, didn't mean for you to come down here (although it's fun here).  And stay away from the frikandel, it ruined my girlish figure ages ago  Grin
But they might help you to an address and website of an exporting company.
The Stoffenmarkt has the weirdest and funkiest fabrics around.  Like I said, I'm really tied up for the next few weekends and may have one possibility to go there and ask before I go to my summer residence. Aka a little kossathen grundstuck in the Altmark   Smiley
Just give us a shout if you want me to ask whole sellers here on your behalf where they get their stock.

Glamis, with apologies for the delay. Have been and am still rather ill at the moment. So not touched a computer for a while.
If you look at www.vangelderenstoffen.nl  and search for velboa, you see animal prints.
van der Lee has brightly coloured leopard prints in stretchy fabric if that is what you want. I could nip down (or dispatch the kids) to get a few meters and see if this is what you want.
Other then that, everybody recommends to google groothandel or the equivalent in German for direct import. But they warned youd have to count on large quantities.
How many meters do you think you want of each colour?
