Although my daughter is now 17 & doesnt believe in the Easter bunny (and hasnt for quite awhile) I still like to do up a 'basket' for her. But this year I am kinda stumped, what to give a 17 year old in a basket other than some chocolate (that none of us need LOL)
She is into :
her Ipod & cell phone (texting)
loves music
Spongebob Squarepants (ugh)
Eeyore
purses
television & movies
clothes
favorite color is green

I was thinking the possibility of using a new purse as the 'basket' & filling it with stuff, would that be ok to do or TOO non traditional??

I think that a new purse sounds like a great idea, especially if she loves them! Grin

Maybe a trip to The Disney Store could result in a cute little stuffed Eeyore for her bed or desk. Since she loves music, perhaps a new CD from her favorite artist, or a modest iTunes gift card?

Good luck assembling this lovely gift, and a very Happy Easter to you both!

I've always used non traditional Easter baskets (when the kids were little sand buckets were always a hit) and think that a purse is a fabulous idea for a teenage girl!  Plus you can stuff it with all kinds of great purse goodies like chapstick/fun printed travel pack of tissues/change purse or wallet/keychain/socks (maybe not a purse thing but still fun to give).  have fun, hope to see some pictures Smiley

I think a purse instead of the basket is a cute idea!! My girls are YOUNG (2 1/2 and 7 months) but so far it's been non-traditional Easter things (like buckets instead of baskets, toys and "accessories" instead of candy). Good luck, and I hope you post pictures before you give them to her! Smiley
