Hello! I'm slowly sharing projects I made early this year in January.

These 2 dresses I made using the patterns that came with Christine Haynes Chic & Simple Sewing. It's an interesting book, great for experienced beginners. Although the instructions aren't very detailed, the projects are simple, quick, and don't require zippers!

I made this dress for my 23rd birthday. I fell out of love with the material (I think it might be best used as lining), but I love polka dots Smiley

This is my version of the "You're So Shifty" shift dress. I loved the neckline, but as a straight shift dress, I didn't think it was very flattering on me. So I inserted a casing for elastic at the waistline.

If you have any questions about the book, feel free to ask me Smiley

Love the orange dress - so pretty with that belt.  That fabric is beautiful.
