I posted a little blurb about this swap in the  "what's cookin'" thread. Here's the link if you'd like to look at it:

hey i just thought of this,
I'am a vegetarian, so was wondering if there is anyone in the swap that might be sending in veggie recipes??it would be very useful for me to have a rcipe book full of meat recipes!!

is it possible for everyone to just mention on thier post if they will be submitting a veggie or non-veg recipe? that way others who might be veggie can also know if they would like to go ahead and sign up for the swap!
what do you guys think?
i'm vegan, will be submitting a vegan recipe (or two).  Glad to see other vegetarians interested in joining.  And meat's pretty easy to substitute for in recipes.

So, I'm just wondering....how many people are planning on sending 2 recipes, and how many are submitting 1? 'Cause I was just doing some calculating, and the printing won't cost nearly as much as I was expecting. Even if everybody submitted 2 recipes each, it would be less than $15 for all of the printing, with the 11 people we have now. So, I will be adjusting the printing/shipping price after we know how many people/recipes there are. Oh...and shipping should be less than 2 dollars per person I think, so it will probably be like $3, not $5. Even for international, I sent a little package (about half a pound) to Australia yesterday, and it ws $1.80. Anyways I'm going to stop babbling now.

Please PM me and let me know how many recipes you would like to use.

How would the recipes be aligned on the page?
8.5" is the side or top of the recipe?

Let me rephrase.
Will they read as tall, skinny pages or wide short pages?
Does the recipe read parallel or perpendicular to the bound edge?
When reading the recipes, will the bound edge be horizontal or vertical?
I swear I'm not trying to be difficult.
Would like to know so I can consider formatting options.... I'm a big nerd.

I think that there are going to be two recipes to a page and so there will be two recipes per tall, skinny page, the recipes will be perpendicular to the bound edge which will be vertical when reading the recipes (does that make sense??)  That's my understanding (anyone correct me if I'm wrong!) I hope this helps
