I've been eyeing Catwise's sweaters like this on Etsy for a long time too but there's just no way I'm paying $300+ for something I can make myself! Even though I'm sure it's worth the time put into it.
I've been collecting sweaters and probably have enough to make one by now. Just have to find the time, sigh. How long did it take you?

I'd say around 2 hours to cut out (a good project for in front of the TV), and 3-4 of sewing if you're using a serger. That's probably a conservative estimate... it always takes me longer to do things than I think it will.

I too have been eyeing these on Etsy. I'm sure they are worth every penny! But alas, I too don't have that kind of money to spend on a coat.

Do you simply wing it, or use a pattern?
