Is there stretch to this fabric, or are their side seams on the tube top?

For the hem, did you serge it? I don't quite get it. lol. Spectacular though!

Absolutely beautiful!  Wow!!!!

I would have NEVER thought to zig-zag a hem.  Not in a million years.  I love everything about this dress.  Great job!!

Your dress is fantastic! Way to make a simple dress a statement piece. Love what you did with the hemline, must have taken ages. The notched band and the neckline really makes this work. I imagine how plain it would be without it, yet how stunning it is with. Great design!

It's a knit fabric, so it is stretchy, but it does also have side seams.

As for the hem, I basically did something like this tutorial here, but instead of the scalloped shape, I did a zig zag (obviously, haha).
