I've been having some fun with formal dresses lately. When I saw this fabric, I pounced on it.

It has a fitted tube bodice with a notched top band that can be folded over or worn up.  The skirt is gathered for super poofiness, and I followed the zig zag pattern on the hem. It has a full lining, and the skirt lining has a yellow tulle ruffle to give the skirt a little extra poof.

I made the pattern myself, but it's really just a tube top and a big gathered rectangle of fabric for the skirt. Smiley
