I borrowed a book from our local library which has tutorials for making animals out of socks.  So I thought I would give one a go (of course I chose one of the 'advanced' animals for my first attempt.

Here is my little stripy sock elephant

&

I learnt a lot with this one:
a, don't use toddler socks - they are too small and fiddly
b, when in doubt, use more stuffing

Any C & C welcome

ummm, He is about 15 cm / 6 in high as I used toddler socks.  I think if you use adult socks he would sit about 30 cm / 12 in high.

The book I borrowed is "Stray sock sewing, too"

So much easier than I thought it would be, I am going to try the monkeys and frogs next Wink
