Technically speaking, I don't actually have a dress-up trunk, but one would be handy for my significant other's and my collection of dress-up stuff.
This might be a cool thread for those of us who are slowly getting our costume stuff together to check out other costumer's staples are and see what we might be missing, as well as providing inspiration for future costume projects. I'll start.
To begin with, my favorite aesthetics and costume genres are Victorian/Edwardian, steampunk, circus, fairy, and pirate, to name a few. Many of these items have already been worn in previous costumes.
