Planned for a week, punched as quickly as humanly possible, sewn in an hour. Can't say I enjoyed it but it was well-received by the birthday girl on her 47th last night!

I just needlepunched the Michael Miller design:

And used it as interest for a small journal:

So sweet!  and I like the clever pen holder...

I got punch needle equipment a year or two ago for my birthday, and still haven't learned how to use it yet....I think you've inspired me to pick that stuff up!  What kind of embroidery floss do you use?

Very nice!  I love how it emphasizes the pattern.

Hmmm. Couple of questions first:
1. What kind (brand/size) of needlepunch needle/holder?
2. Are you using a hoop, and what kind?
3. How many strands of floss are you using at once?

Thanks, y'all.

It doesn't really take a long time. The needle motion is sort of a hand-operated sewing machine up-n-down thing. Closer stitches are better, of course, but it is VERY relaxing!
