OH. EM. GEE. I just got home from my local HEB, and they have their store brand whole wheat bread on for $.25 a loaf. Yep. You read that right. 25 cents. I bought 8 loaves for $2. It's not in their weekly ad, but there were big sale tags on the three shelves. Dunno if it's just my store or all of them, but it's a really great unadvertised sale. Oh, and there's no limit. So even though it's only hubs and me, I bought a bunch to freeze. Frugality ROCKS (especially surprise frugality, woo!). Fellow Southies, I'd say it's worth at least a call, if you're in need of bread. Check it out!
