That's so familiar! Thanks for reminding me why I quit teaching!
And so glad you're here with us. Grin
Wulf

I don't baby the rest of my students like that really.  Usually we just calmly talk about what was wrong, and how to go about fixing it together.  But this one is a "junior" in college who is like 12 years old.  Ok, more like 19, but still, younger than her classmates, and was always told she was a special and unique little snowflake.  She doesn't take criticism well.  Even if I asked her to fix it, I'd get it back the same mess because she doesn't think she does anything wrong.  Anyways...  Glad to see you here too Wulf!

I think we're actually going to fill up completely! There are 14 spots left. Cheesy So if you've signed up, your name should be listed on the first page and you should have feedback in your profile - let me know if that's not the case.

90 swap participants?! That probably means over 100 brand-new, never before seen altered matchboxes in the gallery! I think I just had a seizure.

nooo- i am laughing so hard at your seizure right now Grin!!!!!! thank you I needed that- my MIL is in town for the weekend and I was starting to loose it!!

Ok I checked 2 dollar stores and 3 supermarket and STILL can not find any small match boxes- just the 200 count kitchen match boxes. I didn't think I'd be on such a treasure hunt for this swap  Cheesy

Oh, goodness. I bought my matchboxes today. I've been reading posts on here for weeks about how tiny they are, but I still couldn't believe my eyes. THEY'RE SO SMALL! I'm going to have to cast a few undetectable extension charms on these babies to fit all of my goodies inside. I can't wait for partners!

have you asked any of the employees in the store if they know where the matchboxes are?   I couldn't find the matches at my local dollar tree so I asked the cashier and they went straight to them.

There could be a conspiracy against small matchboxes where you live. Maybe there is an extreme pyromaniac in your area that knows exactly when to go to all of the stores to buy all of the matches?

I had a hard time locating the matchboxes at my local stores. Finally found them sitting behind the large 200 count boxes at one of the local grocery stores over in the grilling section (where the charcoal and lighter fluid is located).
