I know, right? I had visions of Bukowski's "Post Office" worker Henry Chinaski when I heard that. She said she saved some of what was inside but I'm not sure what so hopefully she can post pics.

that is sooo hard to hear and I bet your partner feels terrible as well as you do Cry

I saw what you did over in the gallery...such a great box and goodies inside...

Postal jerk.  I'd be making some phone calls and raising a bit of hell with the PO..I've done that before when a PP put my priority package in someone else's locked box....that PP shouldn't have done that to your sent package. They knew what they were doing. I hope your partner calls the PO

I got home from work (after a 72 - 73 hour work week  - I lost track- ugh) to find just the thing to lighten my mood.  My AMAZING matchbox arrived from Lilybet85.

I will be posting pictures tonight so all of you can become pea green with envy.  She nailed it!

I sent out to Leslieshappyheart yesterday after having it out with the guy at the post office. He tried to tell me that sending it in an envelope would cost me $10+, so I went home, found an old box, wrapped it in brown paper, and sent my matchbox off for $2.85 (including DC). TAKE THAT USPS!

Wtf is up with USPS lately?! Makes me really glad I don't get mail to my house anymore unless its from UPS or FedEx. USPS mail goes into my PO Box or they give me a key for a bigger box, or they give me a yellow slip and then when I bring up the yellow slip they get me my stuff.

If the postal workers threw stuff into my yard, it may or may not survive due to racoons, a bear, coyotes, a cougar, bobcats, etc etc etc. And that's along with other peoples dogs, cats, a goat, and during the summer, COWS o_o;;; It's become almost normal now that during the summer my yard magically is covered in cows....

But honestly, even if the postal workers put stuff in my old mailbox down the road (if it still existed), it wouldn't be real safe cuz theres weirdos out here and some of the boxes, if you nudge them, they may fall backwards and down a hill >_>;;;

USPS shows that Noo's box has been delivered. I hope you like it as much as I like my Frida box!

Loving this swap!  I sent to Lilybet85 and tomorrow to  haroldlovesmaude - I worked a 72 hour week last week so I had no time to get to the Post office.  My package cost $3.25.

Don't know why the Postal service is getting stupid.  My local P.O. is still O.K.  I can only hope that continues.
