Making good progress- it's turning out so well that I've been forced to stop showing it to my friends. I got orders for three more based on the unfinished one for my partner!  Grin It's a good sign..

Wow, that was fast! My package to my partner is out for delivery today. I just sent it Saturday and it went all the way to the east coast over the weekend! I thought it might get delivered on send-out day at the earliest!

I'm going to finish up this afternoon, which will make it a race to see who gets done first, me or the folks at the post office. What with the Easter holiday, I won't be able to send until Tuesday morning if I don't make it today. The clock is ticking.... Wink  nothing like a little pressure to motivate you!

Well my machine hates me.  I don't know what the deal was, but the bobbin wasn't cooperating.  It would keep bunching up and then get all clogged up and make a giant mess at the back of the piece.  For a little while I could fix it by doing a little zig zag stitch and then it would work properly again, but then that stopped working too.  So I had to take it yesterday for a tune-up.  (Is it bad that part of me hopes the machine is toast so I can get a new one!!??)  My machine is 20 years old - one of the first things I bought for myself when I moved out at 18.  But it was just a cheap starter machine and it really shouldn't have lasted so long.  I REALLY want a new one!!

Anyway, I was actually in the process of sewing this skirt when the trouble started, so I'm not quite done yet.  Since I won't get my machine back until Tuesday at lunchtime, I won't be sending out on time.  I'll be finishing up Tuesday night for sending on Wednesday now.  Sad Sad Sad  Sorry!!

I have my machine back now and can test it out tonight - hopefully everything is good and I can finish up with no further incident.

Looking forward to getting done!!!
