I purchased a sewing machine a couple of months ago and haven't opened it yet (my husband and i moved overseas and we're waiting on our stuff to get here). I think my first project is going to be a wallet but I'm nervous lol.

These look great! 
I've made a couple myself, but haven't ever tried the edge-stitching. I'm too afraid to b/c of the thickness.  Any tips on this?  Yours look like they were a breeze and didn't give you any problems!
