After much math and forethought I cut out my pieces and laid them out.

Then I drew and cut out the spiral.

I appliqued the cut spiral pieces down, and added green fuzzy lines to separate the squares.  With my cat's support I hand quilted using a made up abstract organic pattern.

After hand quilting I machine quilted.  Finally I turned and finished the edges.

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

That is beautiful...but even the thought of figuring out how to make it (mathematically, I mean, seeing as how this is the one project we never did in school) nearly made my head smoke lol.  Nicely done.

Hah Fibonacci quilt.
Confession: I always preferred squat rectangles to those that followed the golden ratio-this is an exception though. Great work. Smiley
