Yahoo! I received today!  Cheesy Be prepared...

The whole bunch:

Butweed made me a witch... and such a cute one too!

She has a lot of details and those shoes... awesome!

She also brought along her witch-stuff, like cards, stones, a wand, book of spells (don't know all the words in English, even though I did read Harry Potter in English) And of course a black cat!  Smiley

Here it is, all spread out!!

I am planning on using the monkey-witch in my classroom for a reading theatre, but I'm not sure my children will let her go... Probably not!  Roll Eyes

THANKS Butweed, I love her and the rest of the family loves her too! Kiss

Received a Cowboy Sock Monkey with an all-crocheted wardrobe of pants, hat, and red bandana from pollyprissypants:

She also sent a pair of Southwest-style earrings, which are adorning my lobes even as I type this:

Thanks, pardner!

How wonderful all those monkeys... and all so different!
William Wallace, is that from the movie with Mel Gibson? It must be, that's the first that came in mind, especially the hair and the blue striped face, good job!

And loving the cowboy hat! All crocheted... What a challenge! (I sucked at sewing a pants and jacket)

Help, my wishlist is growing....  Wink

Okay, sorry I'm not a part of this swap but I have to say that @butweed, those boots are fabulous! I think any witchy sock monkey would be proud.  Roll Eyes

I received THE. BEST. PACKAGE. EVER. from waterbaby today!
She made me not one, but TWO critters! She included a note that said that said she wanted to make an Ed Grimley, but couldn't think of how to do the hair (and honestly, when I put him on the list, I couldn't come up with a good way, either.), but she ended up making me THE WEASLEY TWINS (from Harry Potter, in case you didn't know)!
Here are Fred and George, in all their glory (complete with awesome Weasley sweaters!):

They came to me wearing two Bertie Botts backpacks, cram-packed with Wizarding Whatnots!

The jars are filled and labeled: Basilisk Fangs, Dragon Scales, Eye of Newt, and Fluxweed. There are glow in the dark critters, a troll (I LOVED THOSE THINGS!), and a magic fortune telling fish. Is this the best swap package ever, or what?!?!?!

Thanks so much, waterbaby! I absolutely adore everything!!!!!!

Here is the quote that finding my fabulous monkeys made me think of:

'Merry Christmas!'
'Hey, look Harry's got a Weasley jumper, too!'
Fred and George were wearing blue jumpers, one with a large yellow F on it, the other with a large yellow G.
'Harry's is better than ours, though,' said Fred, holding up Harry's jumper. 'She obviously makes more of an effort if you're not family.'
'Why aren't you wearing yours, Ron?' George demanded. 'Come on, get it on, they're lovely and warm.'
'I hate maroon,' Ron moaned half-heartedly as he pulled it over his head.
'You haven't got a letter on yours,' George observed, 'I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid we know
we're called Gred and Forge.'

'P for prefect! Get it on, Percy, come on, we're all wearing ours, even Harry got one.'
'I don't want 'said Percy thickly, as the twins forced the jumper over his head, knocking his glasses askew.
'And you're not sitting with the Prefects today, either,' said George.
'Christmas is a time for family.'
They frog-marched Percy from the room, his arms pinned to his sides by his jumper. (PS12)
