Those boxers are hilarious and I really want that headband  Cheesy drool.

I also received from wendiek today and Shocked Wow. She has made me brook from the anime one piece.
I had fun taking photos of him but none came out very good.

First thing he wanted was a cup of tea. (he had a long journey)

Shot to show how long his legs are .

pic to show his cute hands.

Can anyone tell I like props?

I really wish I hadnt sent my monkey now... its not going to be able to compare with what I received. (Having Senders remorse)

She has also made me the coolest apron based on my burlesque theme but i forgot to take a photo, so will upload one later.

stopping for Tea

i am so in love with you Bobbiemay, i think you're awesome!
out of the five choices this one was probably my top! the Addams family is my all time favorite tv series, the minute i pulled him out of the box, i thought "caramia" and then decided that i have to make him Morticia. ok enough Jenny

I came home to two unread messages and a gallery full of monkeys!
Like the werewolf and his pants rock!
And the clothing on the Gomez Addams monkey are unbelievable! I can sew, but clothing for monkeys, are a completely different story!

I really wish I hadn’t sent my monkey now... it’s not going to be able to compare with what I received. (Having Senders remorse)

She has also made me the coolest apron based on my burlesque theme but i forgot to take a photo, so will upload one later.

Please, don't feel that way! I've been making monkeys since the first round and love making them a lot! Since Brook was the biggest challenge for me, I decided to try this. I just love challenging myself. I am really sure I will love whatever monkey I receive. Start relaxing and enjoying! I can see Brook belongs to you and all your monkeys sized furniture! Grin

(Oh and thank you all for the nice compliments, you make me blush...)

Yahoo! I received today!  Cheesy Be prepared...

The whole bunch:

Butweed made me a witch... and such a cute one too!

She has a lot of details and those shoes... awesome!

She also brought along her witch-stuff, like cards, stones, a wand, book of spells (don't know all the words in English, even though I did read Harry Potter in English) And of course a black cat!  Smiley

Here it is, all spread out!!

I am planning on using the monkey-witch in my classroom for a reading theatre, but I'm not sure my children will let her go... Probably not!  Roll Eyes

THANKS Butweed, I love her and the rest of the family loves her too! Kiss

Received a Cowboy Sock Monkey with an all-crocheted wardrobe of pants, hat, and red bandana from pollyprissypants:

She also sent a pair of Southwest-style earrings, which are adorning my lobes even as I type this:

Thanks, pardner!

How wonderful all those monkeys... and all so different!
William Wallace, is that from the movie with Mel Gibson? It must be, that's the first that came in mind, especially the hair and the blue striped face, good job!

And loving the cowboy hat! All crocheted... What a challenge! (I sucked at sewing a pants and jacket)

Help, my wishlist is growing....  Wink

I received THE. BEST. PACKAGE. EVER. from waterbaby today!
She made me not one, but TWO critters! She included a note that said that said she wanted to make an Ed Grimley, but couldn't think of how to do the hair (and honestly, when I put him on the list, I couldn't come up with a good way, either.), but she ended up making me THE WEASLEY TWINS (from Harry Potter, in case you didn't know)!
Here are Fred and George, in all their glory (complete with awesome Weasley sweaters!):

They came to me wearing two Bertie Botts backpacks, cram-packed with Wizarding Whatnots!

The jars are filled and labeled: Basilisk Fangs, Dragon Scales, Eye of Newt, and Fluxweed. There are glow in the dark critters, a troll (I LOVED THOSE THINGS!), and a magic fortune telling fish. Is this the best swap package ever, or what?!?!?!

Thanks so much, waterbaby! I absolutely adore everything!!!!!!

Here is the quote that finding my fabulous monkeys made me think of:

'Merry Christmas!'
'Hey, look Harry's got a Weasley jumper, too!'
Fred and George were wearing blue jumpers, one with a large yellow F on it, the other with a large yellow G.
'Harry's is better than ours, though,' said Fred, holding up Harry's jumper. 'She obviously makes more of an effort if you're not family.'
'Why aren't you wearing yours, Ron?' George demanded. 'Come on, get it on, they're lovely and warm.'
'I hate maroon,' Ron moaned half-heartedly as he pulled it over his head.
'You haven't got a letter on yours,' George observed, 'I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid we know
we're called Gred and Forge.'

'P for prefect! Get it on, Percy, come on, we're all wearing ours, even Harry got one.'
'I don't want 'said Percy thickly, as the twins forced the jumper over his head, knocking his glasses askew.
'And you're not sitting with the Prefects today, either,' said George.
'Christmas is a time for family.'
They frog-marched Percy from the room, his arms pinned to his sides by his jumper. (PS12)

I got my monkey from mxr145 today!!!

He doesn't talk much because he's taken a vow of silence.  It's a Monk Monkey!!!

The extras are more for my gamer nerd son....the monkey key chain is mine of course and I'm keeping the  Smurf stickers.

I have the perfect rosary I bought at a dollar store for him to where as a belt. I'm so happy to have him in my collection.

Thanks so much mxr145....you have no idea how much I love him.

Gosh, I love everything in the gallery! Great job, everyone. And I'm so glad you like your package, Calsters.

Sorry I haven't gotten around to posting pictures until now. I lost my camera cord and just found it today. :/ lol.

First, a close-up of my AWESOME monkey! I love her pink eyes, her earrings, and her nautical dress! (Nautical was one of my theme ideas.) She is absolutely perfect.

She also sent TWO of these crocheted dish cloths.

And this adorable ring! I loveee this. I call it my "hippie ring". Lol.

Also, this really cool magnet with my first initial on it. This went on my mini fridge as soon as I opened my package!

Calsters also sent some awesome noodles that I unfortunately didn't get a picture of.

And here's a picture of everything together.

Thank you so much!! I was completely spoiled and I love everything! Cheesy
